Wood Burner Accessories in Spalding: Essential Products for Stove Maintenance

by Paul Grimwood • 18 October 2026
If you're looking for wood burner accessories in Spalding or the surrounding Lincolnshire area, Flamecraft offers a range of essential products to help you care for your wood-burning stove, multifuel stove or fireplace. From specialist stove glass cleaner and stove cleaning products to replacement rope seals and everyday fireplace accessories, having the right products can help you maintain your stove and identify components that may need replacing. Located at Baytree Garden Centre in Weston, near Spalding, Flamecraft provides advice and accessories for homeowners looking after their wood burners and multifuel stoves. Essential Wood Burner Accessories for Your Home Regular maintenance is an important part of owning a wood-burning stove. Over time, components can become worn, surfaces can accumulate deposits and stove glass can become marked through normal use. Having suitable stove maintenance products available can make routine care easier. At Flamecraft, you can explore a range of wood burner accessories designed to support the upkeep of your appliance. Stove Glass Cleaner and Stove Cleaning Products Keeping your stove glass clean helps you enjoy a clearer view of the fire. Specialist stove glass cleaners are designed for this purpose, helping remove suitable deposits when used according to the product instructions. Choosing products intended for wood-burning and multifuel stoves is important. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning and follow the manufacturer's guidance. Replacement Stove Rope Seals Rope seals help create a proper seal around stove doors and other specified components. Over time, these seals can deteriorate through repeated heating and regular use. A damaged or worn door seal can affect how air enters the stove and may make it more difficult to control combustion. If you notice a loose, frayed or deteriorating seal, have it checked and replace it with the correct type and size for your appliance. Flamecraft can help you explore stove accessories and replacement products suitable for your maintenance needs. Multifuel Stove Accessories Multifuel stoves require appropriate care and maintenance to keep them operating as intended. Depending on the appliance, useful accessories may include cleaning products, replacement seals and other stove-specific components. If you're unsure which accessory is suitable for your multifuel stove, seek advice before purchasing. Using the correct product helps avoid compatibility problems and supports proper appliance maintenance. Why Is Regular Stove Maintenance Important? Wood-burning and multifuel stoves operate at high temperatures, so components naturally experience wear over time. Routine checks can help identify issues before they become more serious. As part of responsible stove ownership, look out for damaged fire bricks, deteriorating door seals, unusual smoke behaviour and other visible changes. If your stove is not operating normally, stop using it if you suspect a safety problem and arrange a professional inspection. Accessories are useful for routine care, but they do not replace professional wood burner servicing or chimney sweeping. Chimney sweeping helps remove accumulated soot and combustible deposits from the flue, while stove servicing checks the appliance and its components. Both are important considerations when maintaining a wood-burning or multifuel stove. What is Clear Skies?

by Flamecraft • 30 October 2020
The clearskies scheme has been recently introduced, and many of the wood burners and multi fuel stoves we sell have a clear skies mark. However many of our customers see this logo and are left wondering what it actually means. Therefore we have put together the basics explaining what clear skies is, and how this potentially will effect choosing a wood burner or multi fuel stove.

EcoDesign 2022: What do I need to know?

by Flamecraft • 23 October 2020
EcoDesign 2022 is changes to regulations for the Stove Industry.

Our range of wood burners & multi fuel stoves is about to get bigger!

by Flamecraft • 16 October 2020
It is the season for hot chocolate, fluffy blankets, hot water bottles and curling up in front of a roaring fire. With the days getting sorter and the nights getting longer it means we are busy installing wood burning and multi fuel stoves in homes. Like for many this year has been challenging, and we have worked tirelessly to ensure our customers will still receive the best service possible from us. We also understand that with the challenges of the past year many of us we are looking for more affordable heating options for this winter. Over the summer we have had many discussions about the issues we are all facing, and we knew we wanted to do everything we could to ensure our customers can still enjoy owning a wood burner or multi fuel stove. On top of the challenges this year has brought us all we are also very aware that since the announcement of the incoming Ecodesign regulations more and more of our customers are coming to us looking for Ecodesign 2022 Approved wood burners and multi fuel stoves. While we had Ecodesign stoves available, we wanted to give our customers more options to choose from. So, we knew we had two targets: 1. Have wood burning and multi fuels stove options available for a range of different budgets. 2. Expand our range of Ecodesign Approved stoves. We went through many different ideas until we finally realised the solution was in front of us (literally in a pile of brochures we had from a trade show we visited last year). A manufacturer that had a huge range of Ecodesign 2022 approved wood burning and multi fuel stoves that meet our own guidelines for quality and design (as well as being manufactured in the UK), and to top that off offering a range of price points that would allow us to offer more affordable stoves. So of course we gave them a call.
